Data associated with a visit
When this site is hosted, ordinary web infrastructure may process limited technical information needed to deliver and protect a request—for example, the requested page, time, browser or device category, network address, referral information, and security events. Georgia Raw will limit access and retention to what is reasonably necessary for reliability, abuse prevention, and diagnostics.
We do not sell personal information. We do not use sensitive editorial or request information for advertising profiles.
Future private requests
Secure intake may later process contact information, an article URL, request category, explanation, supporting documents, identity status, and communications needed to evaluate a tip, correction, rights, or privacy concern.
- Collect only information needed for the stated editorial or rights-review purpose.
- Keep requester contact data, documents, internal notes, assignment, and decisions nonpublic.
- Restrict access to authorized people and record material access and decisions.
- Never turn request documents into article content without a separate, documented editorial decision.
- Set and disclose retention rules before intake becomes active.
People named in reporting
Journalism may include information about people when it is verified, relevant, proportionate, and in the public interest. Public availability does not make every personal detail necessary to republish. We apply heightened care to minors, victims, vulnerable people, medical information, private addresses, and sensitive allegations.
Editorial source material, unpublished drafts, review records, and confidential communications are governed by access controls and newsroom obligations that differ from ordinary reader data.
Services, links, and future changes
Georgia Raw may rely on service providers to host, secure, or operate the platform. Providers should receive only what is needed for their role and be reviewed before activation. External links lead to sites with their own practices, which Georgia Raw does not control.
No live advertising, analytics, email, storage, or other external account is connected as part of routine Phase 1 implementation. This policy will be updated before material data practices change, and its revision date will remain visible.
